Harvest: One System For Space Heating, Cooling and Hot water
The Harvest Smart Thermal Battery combines a smart controller and all-electric components to heat your home and water. The system converts an ordinary water tank into a thermal battery, delivering space heating and hot water whenever it’s needed, using the cleanest and cheapest electricity.
The Harvest Pod orchestrates the operation of already highly-efficient systems and manages these systems for peak performance. A Harvest Pod:
Optimizes timing: The Pod determines when to operate the heat pump, factoring in time-of-use rates and availability of renewable energy, using the cheapest, cleanest electricity available.
Ensures hot water: The Harvest Pod makes sure there is always plenty of hot water available for showers, laundry or washing dishes, whenever and wherever needed.
Maximizes comfort: The Pod’s algorithms incorporate weather forecasts, heating and hot water usage patterns and your preferences to provide optimal efficiency, temperature and comfort.
Lowers utility bills: The breakthrough design, efficient heat transfer technology, unique energy storage, and heat pump timing reduces your monthly utility bills up to 45%

Thinking of switching your home’s heating and water heating from natural gas to electric?
For homes with an existing furnace and ducting, the Harvest Pod uses an air handler to provide heat. The air handler blows filtered air over eco-friendly water heated coils, distributing the heat through the duct system, maintaining a comfortable, consistently stable temperature. Of course, the Harvest Smart Thermal Battery can be used in new home construction too.
The Harvest System components:
Harvest Pod
The Pod’s flow control system and intelligence makes sure you are getting the heating, cooling and hot water your home needs, whenever you need it, while ensuring optimal efficiency.
SANCO2 Heat Pump
One heat pump for both heat and hot water uses a fraction of the energy that gas systems use. It is whisper-quiet and has the lowest GWP (global warming potential) refrigerant in the market.
Thermal storage
The water tank stores heat energy instead of electricity. The Pod accurately manages the thermal storage, making sure heat and hot water are available whenever needed.
Air handler
The water flows through a high-efficiency air handler (similar to a furnace fan) where it filters and warms the indoor air, delivering a quiet, steady flow through existing ducts.
